Teeny vases (selection)

Description

These ceramic bud vases are simple and beautiful to hold – perfect for gathering from the hedgerows or garden. They are made from stoneware clay, each with a simple but beautiful word taken from Chris’s poetry – just one word, but one that is full of meaning. Each teeny pot is glazed inside in a soft, rich glaze.

We love to collect wee things when we’re out and about, whether it’s shells or seedheads or daisies or feathers and these pots are for just those moments, collecting mementoes or displaying a little bunch of garden flowers.

How we make our teeny pots

Each pottery vase is made using a rolled out slab of clay which then has the word from our poetry printed into it. Once dry enough, it is shaped and attached to a base of the same clay with seatree stamped underneath. Once dried, it is then fired to 1000 degrees and then colour is added to the word and to the inside. It is then fired again to 1240 degrees – pottery is a slow process, so you can rest assured that each pot may be teeny but it’s made with a lot of love.

You can choose your word and glaze colour in the options when you order. Each one is unique and made only once from our seatree range of glazes.

Approximately 5.5cm tall, 6cm wide but each one is unique.
