The days are long
Those shadows gone
Light around here is falling
The humming hive is now alive
Lark into sky is soaring
The feet of deer will dance again
On this our bright new morning
Let’s climb up high
Just you and i
These summer days are calling
With poetry by Chris Goan pressed into the clay, along with the lines and textures, this picture was first fired, then glazed with soft hues and fired again.
