Description
Softness abounds on this ceramic artwork with lines etched into the clay along with the lettering, A soft bronze coloured glaze was added for its second firing, between the lines that swoop across the clay.
The poem, by Chris, reads
Resting close
Breath misting me
Sweet like new grass
Shaped around these bones
You come and stay a while
And me
I cry
Like the small thing
That I never stopped being
This skin scraped sore
From falling
I know my need
For you
The artwork measures 29.5cm x 35cm ans 4.5cm deep.
