Ceramic picture in hand made frame (waxed)
Original poetry by Chris Goan
This picture features an image of a misty day, with a weak spring sun through some stylised pine trees.
Chris is one of those people for whom spring is like an emergence from a long dark tunnel. It is no exageration to say that he longs for it, and loves every moment, every tender bud, every bright green blade of brand new grass.
The poem used on this piece is spring poem, written in response to one of the greatest love poems in history, the Song of Songs; “Flowers appear all over the earth for this is the season of singing.”
