Emily’s Salt Pot with Lid – Seconds

£37.00 £27.00

Hand made ceramic pot, ideal for rings and keep-sakes.

This lovely salt pot is a tall cylinder with a fitted lid. It is glazed with a blue glaze, that has darker crystals which give the pot it’s lovely textured colour. The salt label on the front is raised and stands proud of the pot, each letter has been carefully stamped in and then picked out with underglaze. The inside is a pale but bright blue. The pot is a second as there is a slight crack in the handle (shown in picture) however the handle still functions! Also the lid fits perfectly, but almost too perfectly as you have to get the lid in facing exactly right, you do get a knack for this though!

The pot is about 10cm tall (not including the handle) and has a diameter of 8cm.

Description

Seatree has a guest potter! Our daughter Emily is developing her claycraft and we are delighted to be able to offer some of her wares on our website.

We love the way that people bring their own personalities to the potting process, and these pots are very different in style to seatree’s work, with bright colours and Emily’s focus on tiny details. We hope you like them as much as we do…
