Driftwords use lines of original poetry, hand stamped into clay and then cut out. These are fired and glazed then fired again. The words are in a small glass jar along with small pieces of sea glass, smoothed by years in the sea, shells and small stones. These have all been gathered along the beaches on the West Coast.
